Echodub’s latest 4-track EP comes from Washington DC based SGNL (Bryan Johns). Working with Spherix, and a collection of talented vocalists, Bryan takes the deep 170 style of drum & bass popularised by Autonomic and works in his own incredible unique intricacies, synth work, bass and rhythm programming.
Incredibly tight, bottomless, idiosyncratic almost paranoid slabs of half-tempo drum and bass work are order of the day for the Fuselage EP. Micro percussion skittering over an atmospheric base, a peppering of clever effect work, beautiful vocals weaving in and out of the mix and the vision to pull all the elements together in to a very strong EP. The Fuselage EP speaks volumes about Bryan’s talent and ambition.

Serving as a teaser for the upcoming “Anjunabeats Worldwide 04″ mixed by Maor Levi and Nitrous Oxide, this three track sampler collects three contrasting bombs from Maor Levi’s occasional production partner Bluestone, Russian trance star Cramp and Poland’s Adam Kancerski.
Having first come to the attention of Anjunabeats with his collaboration with Maor Levi – “On Our Own” – on “Anjunabeats Volume 9″, UK-based producer Bluestone makes his solo debut on the label with the euphoric, piano-based “Namaste”.
Featured on Nitrous Oxide’s mix, Cramp’s hypnotic “Andromeda” is a nostalgic nod to trance of yesteryear with deep retro melodies, modern grooves and an epic breakdown.
Rounding things off, Adam Kancerski makes his label debut with the bouncy, effervescent and uplifting “Orion”.

The follow-up to his forward-thinking “iPeople”, “Tiburon” is the latest single from Polish trance superstar Nitrous Oxide aka Krzysztof Prętkiewicz; a stand-out track from his forthcoming “Anjunabeats Worldwide 04″ mix.
Switching up his rhythm slightly, Krzysztof goes for a cheeky electro-edged bassline that bounces along towards a bright, synth-powered breakdown. Dropping into ripping grooves and booming bass blasts, “Tiburon” steadily re-introduces the synths with infectious call-and-response patterns.
On the remix, Hungary’s Levente Márton aka Sunny Lax transforms “Tiburon” into one of his distinctive modern trance groovers; cleverly twisting the melodic elements of the original into new shapes.

With a strong buzz developing around them, Ukrainian duo Ost & Meyer are the latest rising stars to join the Anjunabeats label family.
Featured on “Anjunabeats Volume 9″ mixed by Above & Beyond, “Britanica” combines rolling tech-edged grooves with big, bright synth melodies that raise the emotion levels instantly. With the melody finding extra levels in the breakdown, “Britanica” is an impressive first strike for the Kiev-based producers.
Another classy modern trance anthem, “Scarlet Heaven” makes great use of some beautiful pianos in the breakdown before dropping into cheeky dancefloor grooves. Holding the interest levels till the last, “Scarlet Heaven” brings the melodies back in to dramatic effect.
Wrapping things up is Dan Stone’s excellent remix of “Scarlet Heaven” – a fan’s favourite thanks to its appearance in Above & Beyond’s TATW400 set. Drawing on a heavy bass groove, Dan’s rework adds an extra thump to the original and has been a constant feature on Above & Beyond’s recent DJ sets.
